Traditional philanthropy is often slow and constrained by geographic banking borders. Conversely, many grassroots Catholic ministries lack the structural sophistication to accept modern, global capital safely. Pretiola bridges this gap through a carefully designed, minimalist legal structure.

Canonical Declaration

Pretiola is an independent initiative of lay Catholics exercising their right to found and direct associations for charitable purposes under Canon 215 of the Code of Canon Law.

It operates as a private de facto association governed by its own internal statutes and is not an official entity of the Holy See, the Roman Curia, or the Diocese. Pretiola does not claim the title "Catholic" under the norms of Canon 300. All activities are conducted privately by the Founding Members.

We are in collaboration with Father Emmanuel Kasibante to develop the operational model for a localized initiative in the village of Binzi. By working as an informal local community based organization, the foundation bypasses national bureaucratic friction while Pretiola bridges international seed capital directly to tangible impact across Four Core Pillars.
